Navarre Beach Agency Rental Policy

 

Rental Policy: We are serious about maintaining a family atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment of our guests and neighbors. We will rent to family groups and responsible adults over the age of 21 only. Any use of the home for purposes other than family vacations must be addressed at the time of reservation.

 

WE DO NOT RENT TO NON-FAMILY GROUPS.

Office Hours: In season office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed Sunday. Off season hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, closed Saturday and Sunday. please note: WE ARE ON CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.

 

Our Rentals Include:

Our Rentals Do Not Include:

  • Toilet Tissue (One roll per bathroom)
  • Soap (Liquid hand soap provided)
  • Barbeque (Some of the condo units have charcoal grills on the property)
  • Face Cloths (Some do have face cloths)
  • Hand Towels (Some do have hand towels) 
  • Blankets (Some do have extra blankets)

Reservations: Your reservation is very easily made by phone. Just call our office, and we will discuss with you the availability. We will ask you for a head-count so please have some idea of the number in your party. In order to be fair, it is necessary to make reservations on a first come, first service basis and therefore the most satisfactory way to make a reservation is by telephone. Generally the large houses book up sooner than smaller places and the best selection always goes to the early bird. (One year advance reservations are available with a deposit.) All reservations are made firm in February of each year.

 

REMEMBER THAT CANCELATIONS CAN OCCUR AND MANY "IN SEASON" WEEKS CAN BE RESERVED AS LATE AS A FEW DAYS IN ADVANCE.

Falsified Reservations: Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and / or balance of rental payment. Guest will not be permitted to check in.

 

Deposits: One half of the rent is required to hold a reservation. Any reservation made one year in advance requires a $50 deposit to hold until February 1st of next year. At that time one half of the rent is due.

 

Payment Methods: Cash, Travelers Checks, Money Orders, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or Cashier Checks. Personal checks will be accepted 30 days before occupancy. (see paragraph below.)

 

Check Cashing: We deal with very little cash and are unable to cash checks. We recommend travelers checks for use during your vacation.

 

Cancellations: If it is necessary to cancel your reservations, a full refund will be made, less $50 for expenses, if canceled more than 60 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation. If cancellation is necessary less than 60 days prior to rental, there will be no refund unless we are able to rent the house for the canceled period then there will be a $250.00 non-refundable cancelation fee held.

 

THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY!

Checking In: Please plan to arrive at your condo anytime after 2 PM. Do not purchase your perishable groceries in anticipation of an early check-in. Our cleaners will be rushing to get the unit cleaned after the last tenant.  Most of our condos now have a key pad and you will be provided a code to access your unit the day before you arrive and you can go straight to your unit upon arrival.  We encourage you to send the balance of your rental 30 days prior to your check-in, but ALL reservations MUST be paid in full one week prior to arrival. This will speed up the check-in time and allow us to send your code and property address. We will accept payment in full from one individual.  We can not accept multiple payments from different individuals. Pool arm bands and parking passes for the units that have pools and monitored parking can be found on the counter in your unit. Please leave them on the counter upon check out. (There will be a $10.00 fee assessed for each missing arm band.)

 

Express Check-In: Pay all rent and damage deposit prior to your arrival date and upon arrival, your check-in will be accomplished much more smoothly. Your door code will be sent to you the day before arrival. Call for code or key instructions if you have not received yours 24 hours before arrival. (850) 499-1387.

 

Checking Out: Please leave your keys on the counter of your unit by 10:00 AM on check out day. There will be a $10.00 charge for lost keys.

 

We ask that you:

  • Close all windows and doors.
  • Dispose of all trash in proper outside containers.
  • Leave kitchen items (dishes, cookware, etc.) and returned to their proper place.
  • Make sure that you have not left any personal items in the rental property.
  • Check all closets, drawers and behind /under furniture for lost items. Please leave the property in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Make sure that air-conditioning units are not left running at inappropriate temperatures.

 

Following all these directions and not causing any damage will assure that you receive your entire security deposit. All deposits are held in an interest-bearing escrow account at First National Trust of Fort Walton Beach for Navarre Beach Agency, Inc.

 

Accommodations: Each house has a maximum number of guests that it will accommodate. Exceptions are made only for infants (aged 3 and under). Our rental homes are individually owned and reflect the needs and tastes of the owner. Kindly threat them with respect. The person who makes the reservation is responsible to inform all their guests of the rules and regulations.

 

Locked Closets: Most homeowners have a locked closet for their personal possessions. These closets are private and are not to be opened by tenants or guests under any circumstances. Damage deposit will be forfeited if there is any indication that the owner's closet has been opened.

 

Pets: Pets of any kind are expressly forbidden.

 

VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION, EVICTION WITHOUT NOTICE AND FORFEITURE OF RENT AND SECURITY DEPOSITS.

Hurricane Policy: If we are put under a hurricane warning and the authorities issue a "MANDATORY EVACUATION" order for Navarre Beach, we will prorate your rent and credit you for the number of nights you could not occupy the unit (from the time the evacuation is called until you are allowed to return to your unit during your rental period). The money will be refunded along with your security deposit. In the case of "VOLUNTARY EVACUATION", it will be at your discretion to leave. No refunds will be given in the case of voluntary evacuation. We do not give refunds for rainy days or overcast skies nor do we charge more for sunshine.

 

Lost and Found: We are not responsible for items left in the houses. When we return items, it will at our convenience and your expense.

 

Repairs: We make every effort to complete routine maintenance before your arrival. However, service related problems do occur. In the event that they do, please notify our office immediately. All problems will be corrected as soon as possible. Priority is given to plumbing, electrical and air conditioning. Please remember that all calls must be handled in order in which they come. No refund or rate adjustment will be made for mechanical failure. Pool availability is not guaranteed with any rental reservation.

 

Damages: Each unit is inspected prior to and immediately after each guest's stay. Damages to the premises during your stay will be repaired at a cost to the registered guest. Excessive cleaning will be considered damages, as well as furniture that has been moved from it's original spot. We reserve the right to to apply the damage deposit to offset expenses and administrative fees.

 

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside "non-smoking" rental unites. Your damage deposit will be forfeited and you will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found in your non-smoking unit.

 

Lockouts - It is important for you to keep track of your room keys. Lockouts after business hours incur a $25.00 fee.

 

Errors on Website: Although every precaution is taken by Navarre Beach Agency, Inc. errors in price and description can occur in publishing to our website. We reserve the right to correct such errors, however, we cannot give refunds are are not responsible for changes in furnishing and equipment by the owners. Rental agents represent property to the best of their ability and assume no liability for errors or omissions.

 

Fine Print: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests, or loss of money or valuables of any nature. Rates, descriptions and availability are subject to change without notice. We also reserve the right to substitute comparable accommodations should the unit be out of order or unavailable. If comparable accommodations are not available, guests will have the option from available properties at the published rate or receive a refund of the reservation. Every precaution has been taken by Navarre Beach Agency, Inc. for accuracy, however, we reserve the right to correct errors. We cannot give refunds and are not responsible for changes in furnishings by the owners.
